Toys: Kenner Action Hits 1995 catalog

Here's a nice little booklet showcasing all of Kenner's toylines from 1995. I've deleted all the other pages apart from the Batman Forever ones.

Most figures are as they appeared in the shops except for a couple of Robin figures that have very different hairstyles. Deluxe Martial Arts Robin also has a black and gold colour scheme whereas the final product was red, green and silver. Weirdly, the hairstyle one that one is correct.

Miscellaneous content: TW Kids Batman Forever audiobook

In addition to the audiobook read by Rene Auberjonois, another audiobook was released to coincide with Batman Forever.

Released by TW Kids it was 1 hour long and released on a single tape cassette. It's more of an audio drama than a narrated book. Accompanied by audio effects and music.

When Batman & Robin was released in 1997 they did a similar audio drama on CD (though that was only 35 minutes long).

Anyway. it's an interesting listen and hard to get a hold of. Hope you enjoy it.

Magazine article: Starlog #218

Starlog's comprehensive interview series for Batman Forever comes to a close with an interview with Jim Carrey about playing the Riddler. No great behind the scenes stories I'm afraid but it is interesting to note that again the articles ends with a mention of a project that never happened - Revenge of the Mask - which would have reunited him, Cameron Diaz and director Chuck Russell. Whatever happened to that?

Cards: Metal Fleer Batman Forever cards 51-55

And finally we're getting to some good ones. "Split Personality" might be my favourite of all the cards. It's such a neat idea. And really well executed.

Promotional Photos: Batman and Dr Chase Meridian

Want to see some funny photos of Val Kilmer and Nicole Kidman in some awkwardly posed promotional photos? Of course you do. Who wouldn't.
