Another guest appearance on All Star Superfan patreon talking about Superboy

Hey everyone, I guested on the All Star Superfan podcast again this week with Rob O'Connor - talking about a couple of episodes from the old (semi-forgotten) Superboy series from the late 80s/early 90. I feel like lots of people still don't know this cheesy, low budget, wildly unpredictable show even exists.

For those who haven't listened to the podcast, it's run by Rob and Alan Burke - two hugely knowledgeable Superman fans from Ireland and looks at every aspect of the Superman franchise from comics, movies, TV and everything in between. They've interviewed a whole bunch of cast and creatives including Ilya Salkind which was a highlight of their now 5 year run. They also occasionally go off topic and cover other things like the new He-Man movie.

My podcast episode is on Superboy is part of their Patreon feed of bonus episodes so it will cost a few bucks to hear but if you're unsure, have a browse of their 80+ episodes and see if you like what you hear first.

All Star Superfan's podcast for the 30th anniversary of Batman Forever

The All Star Superfan podcast have just released a 30th anniversary episode on Batman Forever (nearly 3 hours of chat) and I was lucky enough to contribute alongside host Rob O'Connor and fellow guests Niall McGowan (Bat minute podcast) and Parker Johnston (Dick Tracy minute podcast).

If you want to give it a listen, it will cost you a few bucks as it's part of All Star's new patreon.

I know I'm biased as I know the hosts Rob and Alan but they honestly do a fantastic podcast that has over 50 episodes covering all sorts of Superman related media and have interviewed some amazing actors, writers, artists and producers.

This new patreon will have lots of exclusives as well as reviews of the old 1988 Superboy TV show.

Podcast round-up: Batminute & All Star Superfan podcasts

I've been so snowed under with other work this year that I completely forgot to post here the multiple podcasts I've guested on.

First up I returned to the Batminute podcast with Niall McGowan and Jonfen Parker earlier this year talking about three minutes of the 1997 Batman & Robin movie. The toyetic sections covered was the bit when the heroes turn up in their silver suits and ice vehicles while Gotham freezes.

I was also invited onto a special (non-Superman related) episode of the All Star Superfan Podcast with Rob O'Connor and Alan Burke to talk about all the previous Batman movies before dissecting the latest Matt Reeves' movie The Batman. More than a few juicy stories got spilled here, not least the time I was an extra on the set of Batman Begins.

Both these podcasts are very much worth your time (even the episodes where I'm not guesting) and are well worth subscribing to or catching up with.
