Batman Forever Merchandise Review – Batmobile Power Center from Kenner

And so we come to the last of the mini playsets from Kenner. There's a bunch of great ideas in here but it doesn't quite come together in the same satisfying way as the Batman head batcave playset. I admire that they tried to cram so many scenes and locations from the film into one playset but the cheap use of stickers rather than molded interiors lets it down for me.

I would still recommend getting it if you are into mini playsets like this.

Batman Forever Merchandise Review – Batboat and Batsub Mini Playset from Bluebird

This week we're looking at two mini playsets from Bluebird - the Batboat and Batsub which come with a selection of mini Batman, Robin, Riddler and Two-Face figures. Although they are called Mini Playsets they are really just mini vehicles and mini figures. There's not much that makes this a set. When I hear mini playset I tend to think of Mighty Max or Star Trek: Innerspace. Something that opens, shuts and keeps figures inside.

Anyway there's not much to say about these. If you're into mini figures they are quite fun but if you aren't, they are easy to skip. They sort of work in conjunction with the Batman and Riddler head mini playsets that I've previously reviewed.

And now for another one of the three micro playsets they made for Batman Forever - The Riddler head playset that opens up to reveal a miniature Claw Island.

I've got to say I loved these toys as a kid - this and Mighty Max were fantastic. The only trouble was trying to not lose all the pieces. Luckily I managed to pick this up boxed so there was no problem there.

Probably my 2nd favourite piece of merchandise from the movie (after the Bruce Wayne figure). I absolutely love this mini playset and have recently picked up the Batmobile playset so I'll be reviewing that too in the near future.
