Behind the scenes: Batman Forever miniatures

Even though there were a fair few digital shots in Batman Forever, the majority of the Gotham City scenes were still filmed the old fashion way, with miniatures. Being a child of the 80s, I have a strong affection for these kind of effects, they may not be wholy convincing to modern audiences but they really give the movie a special, larger than life feel. And I wouldn't want it any other way.

  1. CGI will never reach this level of artistry and craftsmanship. This film and B&R had such a unique look, one that will never be matched.

    1. The first Batman movie visual effects were done by Derek Meddings. The visual effects of Batman Returns were done by Michael Fink, who later worked with Burton on Mars Attacks. And the visual effects for both Batman Forever and Batman & Robin were done by John Dykstra.

  2. A lot of people were enthusiastic players or enjoyed music and dancing. You could possibly recollect that you were happiest on the performing track. Yet, with increasing obligations possibly you have found no time to indulge in any of an interests. Do you suffer from depression and would like to get free from its abysmal depths without lifelong antidepresants? You could attempt and help yourself to overcome depression naturally. https://royalcbd.com/faq/
