Batman Forever Merchandise Review - Trading Cards from Dynamic Marketing

I've already reviewed the Fleer trading cards that were released in the US but I've recently picked up the Dynamic Marketing series that was released in Australia. It’s the usual set of stills from the film that runs through the gist of the story and posed shots of the actors.

But what's really awesome is that it contains some of the deleted scenes (that are possibly in the fabled Schumacher Cut). Also it's got some awesome concept art of the Bat gadgets and locations. 

Ironically, for an Australian card set there's not many of Nicole Kidman (Boooo!). But anyway, here's me laboriously going through them all. 

I'll get the really interesting ones scanned for the website in the near future.

Batman Forever Merchandise Review – Card Series from Fleer

So I've posted scans of the entire Metal Series of cards from Fleer now. I hope you enjoyed looking at them in all their weird and wonderful glory.

I thought rather than scan and post the rest of the Fleer card series - they are predominantly stills and promo shots from the film - I'd instead do a quick video looking through them and doing a quick commentary. Hope you enjoy.

I hope you've enjoyed this look back through some very wonky 90s illustration. I was going to leave it there but I've just got my hands on the Gold Blaster set so I'll get those scanned and posted to.

We're so nearly there guys, just one more set of cards to go. Some pretty ropey ones here. 'Defenders' is probably the best of the lot. It reminds me a lot of the statue that Applause did (which reminds me I still need to get my hands on that).

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome to 2020 - the twenty-fifth anniversary of Batman Forever.

What better way to ring in the new year than continue our trawl through Fleer's oddly illustrated "Metal" cards. Some pretty terrible ones here.

I think Strategy is one of the most hilarious ones so far. I love the face Robin is pulling as Batman types on the keyboard (no doubt filling out a complicated online form from the looks of it - we've all been there).

The Fleer cards return! More wonky drawings of Robin. I have no idea what's going on with the Riddler's hair in "Need a lift?"
